We’re thrilled to share that Rintoul’s very own Charlotte Ancell has been featured in not one, but two leading publications – The Good Building and The Leader! Both articles put a well-deserved spotlight on Charlotte, as well as the exciting surge in women pursuing careers in construction trades across NSW.
Recently released data during Women in Construction Week shows a remarkable transformation underway in NSW’s building sector. According to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research, the number of women enrolling in construction trades courses in NSW has more than doubled over the past five years. This shift is making headlines and so is Charlotte!
Charlotte’s story is truly inspiring. As an award-winning apprentice and the first in her family to pursue a trade, she is paving the way for future generations. Now in her third year of a Certificate III in Shopfitting through TAFE NSW, Charlotte’s dedication, drive, and passion for her craft are setting a high standard and helping to redefine what a career in construction can look like.
We couldn’t be prouder to support Charlotte on her journey and to see her inspiring others both within Rintoul and across the broader construction industry.
Way to go, Charlotte! keep building your success!
